16 days Tanzania and Kenya combined budget camping safari, Arusha - Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli National park, Samburu, Lake Nakuru National park, Masai Mara budget camping safari

Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara

Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara Lunch at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara campsite Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions are another reason to pay this park a visit. The only kind of their species in the world, they make the ancient mahogany and elegant acacias their home during the rainy season, and are a well-known but rather rare feature of the northern park. In addition to the lions, the national park is also home to the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world -- a fact that makes for interesting game viewing of large families of the primates.

Day 2: Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park (ndutu area)

After the breakfast check out the Lodge and depart to Serengeti. On this day you will have your picnic lunch at the border between Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation area, while taking your lunch our driver guide will proceed your park fees for the days you will be in Serengeti, thereafter you will proceed on to Serengeti and in the next 1 hour you arrive in the Park, on arrival proceed for the late afternoon game drive until 1830hrs when you return to the camp for dinner and overnight or in Seronera Camp

Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thom son's gazelle. Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, Kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. Almost uniquely, all three African jackal species occur here, alongside the spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat.

Day 3: Serengeti (Ndutu)

A full day in Serengeti, morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at campsite.
Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. It is the Migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet some of their most fascinating inhabitants.

Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area Via Olduvai Gorge
