Day 1:

Transfer you to the Capital Hotel. With 182 rooms on three floors, all are en suite and air conditioned. Some rooms overlook the bougainvillea planted central courtyard, others the swimming pool or the quiet wooded gardens. There is a cocktail bar, a restaurant and a terrace coffee shop serving breakfast and light meals.

Day Day 2,3,4 & 5 :

After breakfast its a 5 hr drive to Luangwa Valley in Zambia. Thornicroft Lodge – with a colour scheme in African earth tones, creates the aim being to create a feeling of simplistic sophistication, with necessary modern conveniences to make your stay enjoyable.. Game drives are undertaken in specially modified 4X4 open safari vehicles led by a qualified guide with an intimate knowledge of the park and its fauna & flora.

Day 6 & 7:

Drive to Senga Bay. On arrival at the beach, transfer by boat to the island. The Island is only 3km away from the shore, transfer is a scenic boat ride that takes you down the last stretch of Linthipe River and out into Lake Malawi.. The facilities available are a pool, a volley ball ground, a conference room and several comfortable and secluded lounges to chill or to admire Lake Malawi’s glorious sunsets. Activities included on site are snorkelling (from Nankoma Island), kayaking, bird watching, nature trail up to the top of the island and a boat ride around Nankoma Island to watch cormorant colonies and fish eagles. Scuba diving, windsurfing and wakeboarding are available at additional costs.

Day 8,9 & 10:

Today your 38-foot, ocean going, sailing catamaran – the Mufasa will sail from Cape Maclear and collect you for your 3 day sailing safari. The fully equipped and crewed yacht sleeps eight in four double cabins, plus two in single cabins. There are two bathrooms on board. You will sail out from the island and depending ion weather conditions , sail to the Eastern shore of the lake , where the water is crystal clear. Overnight on board the yacht with all meals included.
