
Day 1: Entebbe-Murchison Falls
Range Land Safari’s driver/guide will pick you from your hotel, then drive you across the verdant countryside. A stopover is made at Masindi for snacks at Masindi Hotel. Your trip continues to Budongo Forest and to the top of Murchison Falls. See, feel and photograph the beauty of the spot.
If you are booked, you will go to Paraa Safari Lodge, across the Nile by ferry at 1pm or 2pm. You can also experience an evening game drive, encountering animals taking cover to avoid lions.
Dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge, Sambiya River Lodge or Red Chilli Hideaway.

Day 2: Murchison Falls
Be ready for a dawn game drive after an early cup of African coffee, and enjoy bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah along the Nile and Albert Deltas. Here expect to meet elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a countless population of birds.
You will return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a three-hour boat trip along the Nile gives you the chance to see the falls from below. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the River.

Day 3: Murchison Falls–Kibale National Park
An early start by road for Kibale National Park via the Albertine escarpment. Visit the top of Murchison Falls before you embark on a drive along the rift valley and part of Lake Albert. This long drive will take us about 8–9 hours.
Meals and overnight stay at Ndali Lodge, Nyinabulitwa Resort, or Chimps Nest Guest House. Enjoy an evening cultural visit around the craters.

Day 4: Kibale-Queen Elizabeth National Park
Get up early for a morning trek to see the chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy.
In the afternoon, drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, with sightseeing and game viewing en route.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge, Ihamba Safari Lodge or Mweya Hostel.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Begin your day with a cup of coffee, followed by an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile where you may encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Ugandan kobs and a variety of birds.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga Channel is worthwhile, and you will have the opportunity to see hippo, buffalo, Ugandan kob, elephants, warthogs.
This trip also gives you the chance to see spectacular birds.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge, Katara Lodge, Ihamba Safari Lodge or Mweya Hostel. Camping facilities are also readily available at the park headquarters and at Mweya campsite.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park–Bwindi
There will be a morning game drive to Ishasha on your way to Bwindi, in search of the famous tree-climbing lions. Later, drive to Bwindi via the beautiful scenery of the tea plantations. This is a lush highland rainforest, filled with primates and exotic birds.
The afternoon is spent on a foot safari around the local communities near the park.
Meals and overnight stay at any of the following recommended accommodation: Gorilla Forest Camp, Engagi Lodge and Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins with a briefing from the Ugandan Wildlife Authority staff. Make sure you bring your rain jacket, drinking water, snacks and jungle boots. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates.
The tracking may take between 2–6 hours but it is well worth the effort.

Day 8: Transfer to Rwanda
After breakfast you will transfer to Rwanda, crossing from Kyanika border. Arrive in time for lunch, and then proceed to Parc Nationale des Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorillas Nest Lodge or Gisakura Guest House.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking, Rwanda
After breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters where you will meet the ranger guides. After a briefing you will begin the search of mountain Gorillas. The trek can be quite tough that it takes a lot of time approximately 2-8 hours.
After the trekking, transfer to Nyungwe Forest.

Day 10: Chimpanzee trekking safari
After breakfast, go chimp trekking, where you may also spot other primates like the colobus monkeys, along with other inhabitants of the forest such as birds and butterflies. Return to the lodge for late lunch. After lunch relax at the lodge.

Day 11: Optional activities in Kivu
Have breakfast, then drive to Gisenyi and participate in optional activities such as swimming, a boat ride or sun bathing. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 12: Departure
Have breakfast and transfer back to Kigali where you may do a city tour with a visit to the cultural museum in Butare en route, and visit the Genocide Memorial Site. Then transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
